Named Funds
|

Named Funds enable donors to establish a fund at the Foundation and recommend grants from their fund to qualified health-related charitable organizations. The Foundation oversees administration of the fund, allowing the donor to focus on researching and evaluating health-related organizations and programs to support.
A Named Fund can be established with a tax-deductible, irrevocable contribution of $10,000 or more.
At this time, it is the Foundation's practice not to charge expenses to administer these types of funds other than the direct costs of external investment management services.
The following funds have been set up at Dakota Medical Foundation to support programs and initiatives designed to make a significant impact in improving health and access to healthcare services within DMF's service area:
